The My Texas Future
Recognition Program
In September 2025, the Professional Learning and Engagement team launched the My Texas Future Recognition Program to celebrate campuses across Texas that are actively integrating My Texas Future resources into their programs and classroom activities. From college and career information nights to classroom lessons to family engagement events, campuses statewide have found creative ways to prepare students for their futures by using My Texas Future.
Participating schools received My Texas Future promotional items and digital marketing materials to help publicize the platform and related events.
Throughout the 2025–2026 school year, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board recognized a total of 158 campuses, including the following:
- 84 high schools
- 27 middle schools
- 47 campuses representing both middle and high schools
At the end of the 2025–2026 school year, Copperas Cove High School, Jose J. Alderete Middle School, and Tornillo High School were named My Texas Future Schools of Excellence! The Professional Learning and Engagement team reviewed My Texas Future user data from participating campuses and found that these schools demonstrated exceptional engagement with their extensive and creative use of the platform.
Congratulations to our 2025–2026 Schools of Excellence!
