Ensure that your students understand careers they may not even have heard of yet.

Throughout a student’s education, Texas has tasked educators with guiding them through college options. Texas OnCourse has made it easier than ever to meet requirements and provide students with the knowledge necessary to reach their dreams. These tools will help educators explore hundreds of jobs with students as young as seventh grade.

Make the most of career assessments.

So far, students probably know about the jobs they’ve seen people do. Help them broaden their horizons. All Texas educators have free access to the Texas OnCourse Academy so they can understand which career assessments can help and how. Educators can also use the resources listed here to access tests and tools.
