The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) provides low-interest student loans to Texas residents eligible to pay in-state tuition. 

THECB offers the College Access Loan (CAL), Texas Armed Services Scholarship Program (TASSP), and the Texas B-On-Time (BOT) loan program. They also provide a handy loan comparison chart and information on other types of financial aid.
