Help your students choose the right focus for their interests.

In Texas, students must select an endorsement — an area of focus for their high school coursework — before ninth grade. Texas OnCourse is here to help students not only select an endorsement, but use it to get where they want to go.

Ensure understanding of this Texas requirement.

In 2013, the Texas Legislature passed a bill requiring that all students select one of five endorsements – STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), Business and Industry, Arts and Humanities, Public Service, or Multidisciplinary Studies. Understand how to help students meet this requirement and how it will benefit them by enrolling in the Texas OnCourse Academy.

Make this big decision fun!

Our MiddleGalaxy game takes students on a mission into space. But it also teaches about careers along the way! Students can play this fun game on their computer, phone, or tablet, and use what they learn to choose an endorsement or two.

Put big choices into action.

Once a student picks their endorsement, they have to build their high school personal graduation plan. MapMyGrad makes planning for graduation easy. Students build, save, and even print whole graduation plans using information specific to their endorsement and high school.
